Angioleiomyoma is a benign tumor that rarely develops in the head and neck region, particularly within the nasal cavity. Thus far, 36 cases of nasal septal angioleiomyoma have been reported worldwide. Within the nasal cavity, this tumor mostly develops between the fourth and sixth decades of life, with a female-to-male ratio of 2 : 1. Angioleiomyoma may become malignant in some cases. Recurrent angioleiomyoma should be treated as low-grade malignancy. Herein, we report the case of a 64-yearold woman who presented with the symptoms of nasal obstruction and rhinorrhea. We further offer insights from our review of the literature on the histopathology and immunohistochemistry of angioleiomyoma.
