A dentigerous cyst is a type of developmental odontogenic cyst that results from fluid accumulation between the tooth crown and reduced enamel epithelium. It is the second most common type of odontogenic cyst, and is most commonly seen in association with mandibular third molars and maxillary canines. A mesiodens is a supernumerary tooth located in the maxillary central incisor region. Dentigerous cysts developing around supernumerary teeth are rare, and among them, mesiodentes are the most frequent type. We report a 52-year-old female patient with no known systemic diseases who came to our out-patient clinic presenting with a slowly progressive swelling in the hard palate that had occurred over the past year. She also complained of numbness in the palatal area. The computed tomographic exam showed a 3.1-cm cystic lesion with a central unerupted tooth in the middle-right hard palate. The cyst was marsupialized via a transnasal and transoral sublabial approach, together with the removal of the supernumerary tooth, and the patient remained asymptomatic with no complications three months after the operation.
