摘　　　要

Oncocytoma is a benign tumor with indolent behavior composing less than 1% of salivary gland neoplasm. Owing to its rarity and overlapping cytomorphologic features among a vast variety of conditions, there is a tendency to misdiagnose it. We encountered a case of parotid oncocytoma with the preliminary cytodiagnosis being Warthin's tumor; via this case, we hope to bring wider awareness of this salivary gland entity.
