Abstract Submission Guidelines

119th annual meeting and international conference of the Taiwan Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery
 

1.Eligibility
Oral or poster presentations are limited to registered members of the Society. Each member may submit only one abstract and only one topic.


2.Submission Method
All submissions must be made online (English only).

3.Abstract Format
  • Original Studies: Total length must be within 300 words. The content should be organized into four sections: Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
  • Case Reports: Total length must be within 300 words. Content should include a concise summary of the case and may be written as a single section without subheadings. 

4.Category Selection

Authors must select the appropriate specialty category:

  • E - ear related: E1-Basic Science / E2-Otology / E3-Neurotology / E4-Audiology / E5-Vestibular Science
  • N - nose related: N1-Nasal Basic Science / N2-Nasal Tumors / N3-Nasal Allergy / N4-Nasal Surgery / N5-Rhinosinusitis
  • L - larynx/pharynx/thyroid/sleep: L1-Laryngology Basic Science / L2-Pharyngology / L3-Phoniatrics / L4-Thyroid / L5-Sleep Medicine
  • H - head and neck related: H1-Head & Neck Basic Science / H2-Head & Neck Infections / H3-Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma / H4-Oral Cancer / H5-Head & Neck Tumors
  • M - miscellaneous: M1-Others. 

5.Case Report Policy
  • Case reports submitted may be reassigned as poster presentations at the discretion of the Education Committee.
  • Case reports that have been published elsewhere, or presented at this Society within the past three years, will not be accepted.

  • Submission deadline: October 10 (Friday) at 17:00.
  • Late submissions will not be accepted once the online system is closed.
